Founder
Our main partner have 20+ years of experience in the Natural Resource sector in Chile and the rest of Latam, time over which he has gathered significant knowledge and experience both in executive positions as well as consultant. He has led teams in both private and public sector, with excellent track record on his undertakings. He has led Chile mining regulator twice in 10 years. He’s been awarded with several scholarships in the United Kingdom, including the twofold funding provided by Chevening and Rio Tinto; he’s Fellow of the Charted Institute of Arbitrators in London and Member of the Association for Petroleum Negotiator in Houston. He’s been teacher on Mining Business for Postgraduates at Universidad Adolfo Ibañez. Top ten of his class, graduated with honours, and recongnised by the industry several times, Javier is an attorney at law, LL.M. in Mineral Law and Policy from the University of Dundee, in the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy, and Diploma on Taxation. He’s fluent in Spanish, his mother tongue, English and French.
